A polymath (ہمہ دان) is a person of wide-ranging knowledge or learning. 'Great scholar' (عظیم عالم) is the best description. 'Ignorant' (جاہل) is the antonym.

To pollute (آلودہ کرنا) means to contaminate with harmful substances. 'To soil' (گندا کرنا) or make dirty is a direct synonym. 'Disinfect' (جراثیم سے پاک کرنا) is an antonym.

A polemic (بحث) is a strong verbal or written attack on someone or something. It is a 'controversial debate' (متنازعہ بحث).

To plunge (غوطہ لگانا) means to jump or 'dive' (چھلانگ لگانا) quickly and energetically, especially into water.

Plenary (مکمل) means 'full' (پورا) or complete. A plenary session is one attended by all participants at a conference. 'Limited' (محدود) is the antonym.

Platonic (افلاطونی) means 'intellectual' (عقلی) and spiritual, without physical or romantic desire (e.g., a platonic relationship).
