- Part-II: Essay (one of two types) 25 marks, 40 minutes (English or Urdu). Argument-based or Narrative (400–500 words).
- Scoring: Total 100 marks, with no negative marking. 50% is qualifying marks.
- Frequency: Conducted multiple times a year by HEC.
