Shahbaz Bhatti was a devoted activist for minority rights and served as the Federal Minister for Minorities Affairs. He founded the APMA to provide a political voice for non-Muslims. His assassination in 2011 was a major loss for the cause of religious freedom and interfaith harmony in Pakistan.

Dhatki is a major language of the Tharparkar and Umerkot districts in Sindh. It is spoken by both Muslims and Hindus and is part of the Rajasthani language group.

Passed on March 12, 1949, the Objective Resolution defined the foundational principles of the future constitution of Pakistan. November 9 is the birth anniversary of Allama Muhammad Iqbal, known as Shair-e-Mashriq (Poet of the East) and Muffakir-e-Pakistan (The Thinker of Pakistan). He is credited with conceiving the idea of a separate Muslim state in his 1930 Allahabad address. Iqbal Day is a day of remembrance for his philosophical and poetic contributions that awakened the Muslims of the subcontinent.

Pakistan Day, also known as Republic Day, commemorates the passing of the Lahore Resolution on March 23, 1940, at Minto Park. This resolution formally demanded a separate homeland for the Muslims of British India. Additionally, it marks the day in 1956 when Pakistan adopted its first constitution, officially becoming the world's first Islamic Republic.

The Muslim Conference was the primary political vehicle for Kashmiri Muslims who supported the Two-Nation Theory. Led by Chaudhry Ghulam Abbas, the party passed a resolution in July 1947 demanding that the state should accede to Pakistan based on its Muslim majority and geographic contiguity.
