Article 9 of the 1973 Constitution of Pakistan provides the security of person. It states that no person shall be deprived of life or liberty save in accordance with law. This is a cornerstone of constitutional protection, ensuring that state actions affecting life or liberty must be authorized by valid legislation.

Article 149 of the Constitution of Pakistan empowers the federal government to issue executive directions to provincial governments in specific circumstances. This ensures that provincial executive authority is exercised in a manner that does not impede or prejudice the exercise of executive authority by the Federation, maintaining national cohesion and administrative consistency across the provinces.

Article 160 of the Constitution of Pakistan provides for the establishment of the National Finance Commission (NFC). The NFC is responsible for making recommendations regarding the distribution of revenues between the Federal Government and the Provincial Governments, ensuring fiscal federalism and the equitable allocation of financial resources across the country.

Article 243(4)(b) of the Constitution of Pakistan 1973 specifically empowers the President to appoint the Chief of the Army Staff. This power is exercised in the context of the President's role as the supreme commander of the Armed Forces, subject to the constitutional framework that governs the appointment of high-ranking military officials in Pakistan.
